Schools has created an all encompassing, allied health professional program
that will provide students will valuable knowledge, practical experience, and
national certifications for employment within the medical field.
The Medical Assisting/Multi-Skilled Technician Program prepares students for clinical and laboratory procedures, administrative roles, human relations, and specializes in phlebotomy and EKG procedures. It combines the curriculum of Medical Assisting and Multi-Skilled Technician into one comprehensive program, providing students will an array of skills for the workforce. Students will gain a strong foundation in anatomy and physically, medical terminology, the healthcare profession, and safety procedures. Upon successful program completion, students will be eligible for the National Healthcareer Association’s (NHA) certifications in the following:
Clinical Medical Assistant Certification
Phlebotomy Technician Certification
EKG Technician Certification (optional)
